    For a newly installed Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo Turf lawn, keep the turf consistently moist for the first 2–4 weeks by watering daily (and more frequently during hot or windy weather) until the roots establish and the turf cannot be easily lifted. Avoid heavy foot traffic during this period. Once established, gradually reduce watering frequency and switch to deeper, less frequent watering. Wait until the grass reaches about 5–7 cm before the first mow.

    Avoid fertilising immediately after installation unless recommended by your supplier. A quality lawn fertiliser can usually be applied after establishment.
