    Kings Pride Soft Leaf Buffalo is a high performance  buffalo with a great winter colour. Kings Pride performs well in full sun yet thrives in shaded areas; in fact it is the no.1 lawn on the market for high shade areas and has been proven to grow in next to no sunlight.

    Kings Pride is also a drought tolerant buffalo which requires less water than most other buffalo’s on the market today and is also suited for high wear areas due to its rapid lateral growth.

    Kings pride Buffalo grass has a thick matt that prevents weeds growing through once established. Like other soft leaf buffalo grasses Kings Pride has stolons that grow on top of the ground which makes it non- invasive and ideal alongside garden beds.

    Kings Pride was first discovered growing in the wild which proves its ability to handle Australia’s harsh climate and its need for little maintenance.

      Sir Walter is overrated rubbish, no matter how much I fertilized, watered and top soiled the grass it was still thatchy and partially dead not forgetting it let past every single weed including clovers …

      Next house we built, we ditched Sir Walter and tried KingsPride, I cannot recommend this grass enough, it is the best type of Buffalo! It’s incredibly invasive (It’s grows and spreads very fast) Keeping weeds out and grows luscious and thick.

      All you need to do is make sure you have decent underlay, a good watering regime and fertilize when recommended, then you will have thick and lush lawn in no time.
